Highlight of the previous week was WD's event at the Act.
Western Digital is launching My Cloud OS 3, which features an intuitive user interface delivering a rich content sharing experience, and back-up and sync capabilities that elevate the personal cloud NAS offering while retaining the privacy and control unique to personal cloud devices physically located in the home or office.
Given this opportunity they threw a party to one of the top hot spots of the town: The Act - Dubai.
A dining experience unique to the region, Alice guides you on a magical tour through Wonderland. Every Tuesday and Wednesday The Act invites you to follow Alice down the rabbit hole and into Wonderland. The experience begins from the moment you arrive in the lobby of the swanky Shangri-La. The classic tale is quickly turned on its head, course-by-course, and table-by-table, and guests are advised to expect the unexpected! With the infamous Cheshire cat, the White Rabbit and, of course, the Mad Hatter all present, havoc is guaranteed. While the show is completely silly and chaotic, the performances by the talented cast are completely mesmerising. From dancing, singing, juggling and acrobatics, it’s a show you won’t easily forget. The attention to detail is superb, and you’ll find yourself wondering where the energetic cast gets all their energy from. Be sure to hang around after the show to have your picture taken with the entire cast in full costume!
The Alice show concept is available every Tuesday and Wednesday evening from 8.00pm until midnight, with the show starting promptly at 9.00pm. The show is expected to run until the end of December 2015, so be sure to catch it before then. Tickets can be purchased for Dhs495 at the door each evening. The ticket price includes an exceptional three course Peruvian set menu, accompanied by a selection of house grapes and soft drinks.
