Experiencing Fume Casual Dining in Downtown

A few days back I had the pleasure to visit a colorful restaurant in the heart of Dubai where the mouth watering dishes and the happy faces of the staff really made my day!
Owned by the JAS Hospitality Group, Fümé is a home-grown success story with two branches of the eatery in Dubai to date; one at Pier 7 in Dubai Marina and the other in Manzil Downtown Dubai.
Its popularity owes much to its uncomplicated, flavour-packed menu of home-style cooking from around the world. European and North and South East Asian cuisines heavily influence the menus, producing a fusion of sweet, sour, spicy and salty flavours smoked, pickled, brined, cured, or slow cooked to perfection.
No bells, whistles or flashing lights, just wholesome food from around the world.
Personal favorite dishes:
- Crispy duck, watermelon and cashew salad
- Smashes potatoes with creme fraiche
and of course their best selling Date & banana pudding with custard and ice cream.
If you're fan of burgers try the Pulled beef brisket bun, or if you prefer fish make sure you'll try the hot smoked Norwegian Salmon with teriyaki sauce.
Big shout out to the super friendly italian chef and the whole team! They truly made us feel like home!
