Celebrating its 21st anniversary in 2016, the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) is the largest shopping and entertainment extravaganza in the Middle East. The shopping obsession peaks each year in January during Dubai Shopping Festival, the longest running festival of its kind. Along with unbeatable deals, DSF is home to Guinness World Records, celebrity performances and plenty of amazing events to celebrate the emirate’s favorite pastime.

1. Fashion Central

Be the first to see collections from ‘New to Dubai’ fashion brands that will be launching in 2016 as part of the Apparel and Fashion Theme of Dubai Shopping Festival. Enjoy Fashiontainment, a fashion show by a luxury department store brand combined with a performance by a top international celebrity. From in-store fashion shows and workshops to talks and exciting giveaways, it’s a fashion extravaganza at Mall of the Emirates from 15 to 17 January 2016. 2. Fashion On Ice The Dubai Mall’s ice-rink will host the first interactive fashion show projection exhibiting revolutionary Galleries Lafayette collections worn by professional skaters as they glide over the ice. 3. The Biggest Perfume Sampling For the first time, Dubai Shopping Festival attempts to break a world record with DSF’s Perfume Theme on January 26. The attempt involves a mass perfume sampling by around 200 personnel with samples worth one million dirhams.
