Dubai voted one of TripAdvisor’s top destinations in the world

If I said that I'm surprised Dubai made it to top 24 destinations in the world according to TripAdvisor’s Travelers’ Choice awards, I would lie.
Based on data collected from millions of independent reviews and opinions, this is something Dubai should be very proud of.
In the list of the top 24 destinations in the world, Dubai comes in at number 13, right between Lisbon in Portugal and St Petersburg, Russia.
Along with its ranking, the website lists the three “don’t miss” attractions as Dubai Fountains, Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding and Burj Al Arab.
London takes the number one spot, having been voted the best amongst TripAdvisor users. According to reports, it was the most searched city over the past year, and in that time it gained more than one million reviews. This is the first time since 2012 that London has topped the list.
Trip Advisor compiles its 2016 Travellers’ Choice Awards using an algorithm which monitors searches, destination reviews, as well as accommodation, restaurants and attractions.
Instanbul comes in at number two, followed by Marrakech, Paris and Siem Reap in Cambodia rounding off the top five.
